Organic Cotton Sleepwear so good that 90% of our customers don’t want to confine it to the bedroom.

 

Designed in Glasgow by Mil, our loose-fitting over-head day/nightshirts feature twin needle stitching, a rounded shawl collar, a 2 button placket, an A-Line cut, generous reinforced side vents for ease of movement and huge pockets.

Product description

Olive green with a splash of zingy lilac, shaken not stirred.

 

Our GOTS certified organic cotton loose-fitting over-head nightshirt features a 2 button placket, signature rounded collar, generous side vents for ease of movement and generous side pockets. Tailored using twin needle stitching for durability. 

 

The ornamental forms drifting across our BARBARIAN print hint at the Paisley Pattern (another staple sleepwear textile pattern) with a dash of outsize botanicals, but are actually based on the letter Z - a recurring theme in the Irregular Sleep Pattern world. Barbarian is named in homage to the epic opening track from our favourite Joan as Policewoman’s collaborative 2021 album with Tony Allen & Dave Okumu: The Solution is Restless.

 

While many people might call them eco pyjamas or sustainable sleepwear, we much prefer to say responsibly made pyjamas. Read about our responsible design ethos here

We ship orders every Monday + Thursday. If you need something sooner, please choose express delivery which will be dispatched the day after you make the order, and takes 1-2 days to arrive. 

  • Free Delivery in UK over £100
  • Under £100 in UK £4.19 Royal Mail tracked 48  2-3 working days
     
  • £12 express delivery (DHL) in UK  1-2 working days
  • USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, shipping is free for orders over £200
  • Otherwise $27 economy shipping to Canada, Japan via Royal Mail  10-20 days*
     
  • Express shipping to Australia, New Zealand & Japan available for £50 3-5 working days*

  • Customers in USA: Unfortunately we cannot ship to USA as of 18th August 2025 with the updated tariffs. We are working on a solution going forward.
  • Customers in Europe: We are still having issues and are working on a solution.

  • NB: For International Orders, please note that depending on your order and country, you may be liable to pay local taxes and duties on receipt of your order, for which we cannot accept liability. The refusal of payment of such fees causes a full cancellation of the order. Transportation cost and custom clearance cost associated with a cancellation will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.


 

Returns

 

  • Size exchanges within the UK are free of charge. Please head to our returns portal. Returns will incur a £4 fee which will be deducted from your refund. 

 

  • Dog beds are the exception as these do not ship with Royal Mail due to their size. Please not that dog beds cannot be processed through our returns portal. Please contact us here if you have any queries.

 

  • You have 28 days from receipt of goods to return your garment(s) to us. Items should be returned new, unused, FOLDED and with all tags attached and in original packaging. Please note that after 28 days, we are only able to offer an exchange or credit note. Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds for any items returned outside of this time frame.

 

  • If there is a fault with your garment, please get in touch and we will resolve the issue.

Ok this is my 4th item but 2nd dress, thought the pink was great but this green and purple will certainly be my day dress and not just useful to sleep soundly in, such great quality and just love the collar, looks good up and neatly folded down , the sleeves are too long for me but fold nicely back giving a weighty cuff which feels just right

Utter perfection

I needed an alternative to regular pyjamas as I have temperature regulation issues and most brands either leave me too hot or not warm enough; stumbled upon an advert for this unisex garment and am so glad I did!
