Designed in Glasgow by Mil, our lightweight unlined kimono style-robe has a simple, wrap-around construction designed to sit at knee length, and features roomy patch pockets, reinforced side vents and a generous belt. 

 

Designed to look fabulous on its own, or to compliment our sleepwear for that maximalist vibe.

Product description

 

Olive green with a splash of zingy lilac, shaken not stirred.

 

A simple, wrap-around construction; our genderless robe is designed to sit at knee length and features wide 3/4 length sleeves, a generous collar that can be worn up or down, roomy patch pockets, reinforced side vents and a generous belt / tie which can be tied to the front, side, behind etc for multiple robe styling opportunities. 

 

The ornamental forms drifting across our BARBARIAN print hint at the Paisley Pattern with a dash of outsize botanicals, but are actually based on the letter Z - a recurring theme in the Irregular Sleep Pattern world. Barbarian is named in homage to the epic opening track from our favourite Joan as Policewoman’s collaborative 2021 album with Tony Allen & Dave Okumu: The Solution is Restless.

 

Our bold + bright 'day to night' GOTS organic cotton sleepwear garments are so fabulous you won't want to confine them to the bedroom. The embodiment of dopamine dressing, 90% of our customers wear them as daywear, sparking joy wherever they go.

 

While many people might call them eco pyjamas or sustainable sleepwear, we much prefer to say responsibly made pyjamas. Read about our responsible design ethos here

We ship orders every Monday + Thursday. If you need something sooner, please choose express delivery which will be dispatched the day after you make the order, and takes 1-2 days to arrive.

  • Under £100 in UK £4.19 Royal Mail tracked 48  2-3 working days
     
  • £12 express delivery (DHL) in UK  1-2 working days
  • USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, shipping is free for orders over £200
  • Otherwise $27 economy shipping to Canada, Japan via Royal Mail  10-20 days*
     
  • Express shipping to Australia, New Zealand & Japan available for £50 3-5 working days*

  • Customers in USA: Unfortunately we cannot ship to USA as of 18th August 2025 with the updated tariffs. We are working on a solution going forward.

  • NB: For International Orders, please note that depending on your order and country, you may be liable to pay local taxes and duties on receipt of your order, for which we cannot accept liability. The refusal of payment of such fees causes a full cancellation of the order. Transportation cost and custom clearance cost associated with a cancellation will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.


 

Returns

 

  • Size exchanges within the UK are free of charge. Please head to our returns portal. Returns will incur a £4 fee which will be deducted from your refund. 

 

  • Dog beds are the exception as these do not ship with Royal Mail due to their size. Please not that dog beds cannot be processed through our returns portal. Please contact us here if you have any queries.

 

  • You have 28 days from receipt of goods to return your garment(s) to us. Items should be returned new, unused, FOLDED and with all tags attached and in original packaging. Please note that after 28 days, we are only able to offer an exchange or credit note. Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds for any items returned outside of this time frame.

 

  • If there is a fault with your garment, please get in touch and we will resolve the issue.

Fab robe, great company

We've now bought a bundle of stuff from ISP including two sets of their pyjamas and now their wonderful Barbarian robe in olive (what a phrase). They always deliver quickly and the items arrive beautifully packaged (as they describe it origami-like!) The robe is fab, beautiful, great quality, light and easy to wear while looking striking. Highly recommend. Sizing can be a bit tricky but their descripters and body library really help, the team are also incredibly helpful in sorting out any questions you might have and ensuring everything is just right. Great product and company, thanks all!

A regular delight!

I have bought several items from Jolene's Irregular Sleep Patterns site and in every case I have been thrilled with the results. Pyjamas, a dressing gown, some napkins - all have arrived on time, beautifully packed and made with care and attention. And then there are the fabulous patterns themseelves. To call them irregular is to do them a dis-service. They are splendidly inventive, witty and, frankly, joyful. I am a fan. rxx

Obsessed!!!

Absolutely obsessed with Irregular Sleep Pattern and everything they do! I've been eyeing their pyjamas and robes since I once spotted their stall at a local design market, but only decided to purchase some of their products recently when they were running a promotion. Each item I purchased is absolutely gorgeous, I get compliments from everyone if I ever wear any of their pieces outside of my home - my partner loved the pyjamas so much he's been suggesting I wear them everywhere and kept saying how he now needs to put in some extra effort to match my pyjama game haha (little does he know that soon he'll be receiving some as a gift). The sizing does take a little bit of time to figure out (especially when getting a pair for someone else), but Jolene and Mil are absolute stars and will sort out anything. Believe me, you definitely won't regret getting their robes (or pyjamas) they're absolutely worth it!
