2024 Winter Charity Partner

Since we launched in 2020 we've done a fundraising activity each year. Because we are doing this business in mid life, and it's very much a passion project, it has  always been about more than just selling things: building community and using our small platform to do good is really important to us. 

Jolene had a chance encounter with a customer at one of our in person markets who works for Simon Community Scotland, and this has led to this year's fundraiser: 10% of our online orders from 1st Nov - 15th Dec (when our online shop closes), will go to Simon Community Scotland. Thank you in advance for helping us raise money for this much needed charity. 

Simon Community Scotland provides safe places, support and hope to people experiencing homelessness. This year, the charity is set to help over 10,000 people in Scotland through their street teams, hubs, supported accommodation services, helplines and outreach services. If you know Edinburgh or Glasgow you might have seen their purple rucksacks - they're the trained and qualified street teams working 365 days a year to support people inside, and to be safe when they're outside. And one of the really unique things they do is provide housing and support to the increasing number of people in Scotland experiencing homelessness and destitution who are denied essential support due to their immigration status. They believe noone should be denied emergency support, wherever they are from, and so do we!
